Castleguard were delighted to have acquired this prime site in the heart of the ever popular village conservation area.
When purchased, the property had a mixed use of commercial and residential units we worked with our architects and town planners to obtain planning consent for a sympathetic character residential scheme that would further enhance the conservation area as well as create a provide much needed housing.
After a fairly lengthy process negotiating with the London Borough of Waltham Forest, we were able to gain planning consent to provide two new houses to be refurbished to the front of the site, 1 two bedroom flat over the entrance and 2 new style newly built properties to the rear. The whole scheme was completed maintaining the two shop fronts on Beulah Road and therefore maintaining the character of the these units. Using materials in keeping with the street scene and further enhancing the conservation area.
We are happy to report the project was a complete success, it delivered good quality housing units which were finished to a very high standard, as can be seen from the attached photos. We are always looking to purchase similar sites.
